• Conducting medical examinations, including pre-employment and periodic health check-ups, to assess the overall health status of employees.
• Diagnosing and treating common illnesses and injuries, providing appropriate medical interventions and prescriptions.
• Managing medical emergencies within the workplace, ensuring prompt and effective responses to critical situations.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals and specialists for referrals, consultations and further medical investigations.
• Implementing preventive health measures, such as vaccination programs, health awareness campaigns and ergonomic assessments.
• Providing health education and counselling to employees on various topics, including nutrition, lifestyle modifications and stress management.
• Maintaining accurate medical records and confidentiality of employee health information.
• Participating in developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures.
• Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognised institution in India, with a valid medical licence.
• Registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to diagnose and manage various medical conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with employees and effectively explain medical information.
• Empathy, compassion and a patient-centred approach to healthcare delivery.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in emergencies.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices.
• Proficient computer skills for maintaining electronic medical records and utilising healthcare software.
• Capacity to work long hours and handle high-pressure situations with composure.
