Perform initial assessments, monitor ongoing treatments, and provide follow-up care for fertility patients.
Assist in managing patients undergoing IVF (In-Vitro Fertilization), IUI (Intrauterine Insemination), ovulation induction, and other fertility treatments.
Monitor patients during procedures and report complications or deviations promptly.
Clinical Support:
Assist in procedures like ultrasound scans, egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and semen analysis as required.
Provide emergency care to patients experiencing acute complications during fertility treatment cycles.
Coordinate with the laboratory and nursing teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate and timely medical records for all patients, ensuring compliance with hospital and legal requirements.
Monitor patient schedules, ensure adherence to treatment protocols, and manage emergencies effectively.
Prepare and update patient treatment plans in coordination with senior medical staff.
Counseling & Communication:
Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.
Address patient concerns empathetically and professionally, providing clear explanations about procedures and care plans.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical protocols, and quality standards specific to fertility care.
Participate in audits, staff meetings, and continuous medical education programs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
Experience:
Minimum 1-3 years of clinical experience (experience in a fertility or gynecology setting preferred).
Experience in managing fertility-related emergencies is an advantage.
Skills:
Strong clinical acumen and familiarity with fertility procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle emergencies and work effectively under pressure.
Team player with a patient-centered approach.
Working Hours:
Rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as per hospital requirements.
Additional Preferences:
Certification or training in reproductive health or gynecology is desirable.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
