Project Background:Technical Compliance in Product Development - Global Regulations & Homologations for Commercial vehiclesThe development of new technologies raises new, complex questions regarding technical compliance. In the midst of the current transformation, it is crucial that we continue to bring safe products to the market that meet current regulations and society\'s expectations. The PCMS R&D team will be expanded and tailored to the new areas of responsibility in order to ensure advice and support for the development areas.Essential Skills: Hands-on Experience in Automotive product development - In type approval, certification, homologation, product approval or overall vehicle development. Experience in coordinating interdisciplinary and international project teams. Strong communication skills, fluent in English (+German is added advantage), strong grammatical writing skills. Recording and evaluating complex technical issues, strong assertiveness Extensive knowledge of business and decision-making processes in the Daimler Trucks product development department. In-depth knowledge in the areas of OBD, combustion and functional safety is desirable. Good Communication and interpersonal skillsDesired Key Skills: Ability to work & communicate proactively and able to identify gaps in the daily activities and finds solutions - with solution mindset. Able to see big picture and comfortable in working in Ambiguous situations - with exploratory thinking able to bring clarity & solution to the topics handled. Ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams and influence outcomes required by the projectJob Responsibilities: Expected to process requests from Development regarding the technical compliance of our products, clarify and develop the PCMS-relevant issues regarding safety, compliance and emissions with the parties involved and \xe2\x80\x9cmanage\xe2\x80\x9d the resulting PCMS case efficiently and professionally on an equal footing with Development, Legal and Homologation up to the committee decision in the interests of the company and our customers. This includes the content analysis and preparation of the case, coordination, preparation of resolution proposals suitable for the Board of Management and the moderation of working and decision-making bodies. The basic prerequisite for this is a strong communication and team skills to ensure active network development and maintenance beyond the process partners to the international PCMS teams.
