What you'll be doing:



• Ensure all safety aspects in Dry end/Dryer Area & good knowledge in safety like LOTOTO, Take 5, risk assessment.
• Ensure to follow start-up checklist & ready for start.
• Responsible for the smooth Dry end & Dryer Operation.
• During dryer loading & unloading board temperature as per requirement & minimum rejection during start & stop.
• Good understanding of product changeover like 46 to 48 feet board, bundler selection, change bundler length, running parameter of all 8 section & troubleshooting of all section.
• able to operate all section manual operation.
• Good understanding of length & squareness troubleshooting. Able to correct the squareness issue.
• Monitor online board moisture & dryer temperature as per product requirement
• Visual inspection online like board surface, edge, back printing etc.
• Able to measure of dry weight, density calculation, tapper width, board width, thickness, length measurement & coordinate (share) with Mixer & Wet end operator if any correction need immediately inform to shift leader.
• Insure all board parameter like Dry weight, width, length thickness as per specified limits.
• Basic knowledge of board quality & dryer temperature set point product wise.
• Responsible for the edge taping quality & basic understanding to finetune the edge tape setting.
• Basic knowledge of board quantity of the FG stack.
• Good understanding to change section parameter as pe the product requirement.
• Good understanding in dry end section wise maintenance & general maintenance.
• Good understanding to change the product online & offline during product changeover.
• Ensure to follow product changeover producer.
• Responsible for Autonomous Maintenance in dry end area.
• Good understanding of board positioning in all section & flipper operation.
• Start of the shift takes 10 board dry weight & inform to shift leader based on dry weight correction to be done in stucco feeding.
• Every shift end completes the Data entry in SFC/ QP/BDE.
• Measures:
• Hourly testing of all denominational testing like width, length, thickness, taper width, angle.
• Online visual inspection edge quality, face & back surface, edge printing, back printing.
• Dry board weight measurement & water loss.
• Dryer temperature monitoring.
• Understands the relationship between these results and what is the specification
• Able to adjust operational set points to deliver high quality of the products.
• Check and ensure all Quality parameters are in acceptable range every hour and inform Shift leader & QC team for any out of tolerance results and act accordingly.
• After every start up when the line is stable, maintain the area clean and keep all tools in designed place.
• Adjusting throughput to ensure you can meet board demand
• Ensure to keep his/her workplace clean, maintain & follow 5S, Continuous improvement, K-Values culture and / or any such improvement plans as decided by the company.
