Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drone LiDAR Pilot to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating drone systems equipped with LiDAR technology to conduct high-precision surveys and data collection for various projects, including topographic mapping, and infrastructure analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aerial surveying, geospatial data processing, and a passion for innovative technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate drones equipped with LiDAR systems for aerial surveys and data collection.
• Conduct pre-flight planning, including route mapping and site assessments.
• Ensure compliance with all FAA regulations and company safety protocols during flight operations.
• Process and analyze LiDAR data using specialized software (e.g., Autodesk, GIS platforms).
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to interpret data and deliver actionable insights.
• Maintain and troubleshoot drone equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Stay current with advancements in drone and LiDAR technology and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience with drone operations and LiDAR technology preferred.
• Proficiency in geospatial data processing software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, CloudCompare).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for fieldwork as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in a specific industry (e.g., Site surveying, Topographical survey and Mapping, Aerial Videography) is a plus.
• Familiarity with photogrammetry and 3D modeling techniques.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
