Job Title: Driver

Location: Madurai

Job Summary: The Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, materials, or passengers to designated locations. This role involves ensuring the vehicle is in good operating condition, adhering to traffic laws, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transportation Duties:
• Transport goods, materials, or passengers to specified destinations in a safe and timely manner.
• Plan routes and follow schedules to ensure timely deliveries or pickups.
• Vehicle Maintenance:
• Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained at all times.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Ensure the safety of passengers and cargo during transit.
• Use seat belts, follow speed limits, and avoid distractions while driving.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries.
• Complete and submit daily logs, trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.
• Report any accidents, incidents, or traffic violations to the supervisor immediately.
• Customer Service:
• Interact professionally and courteously with clients, customers, and passengers.
• Provide assistance with loading and unloading goods as needed.
• Address any questions or concerns from passengers or clients promptly and effectively.
• Team Collaboration:
• Coordinate with logistics and dispatch teams to ensure efficient routing and scheduling.
• Communicate effectively with other drivers and staff to share information and updates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?8,000.00 - ?32,850.49 per month

• Day shift
• Morning shift

License/Certification:

• Driving Licence (Preferred)
