Job Overview:

The Heavy Vehicle Driver is responsible for operating and maintaining such as trucks and buses, to transport goods, materials, or passengers safely and efficiently. This role involves adhering to all safety regulations, performing routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, and ensuring timely delivery or pick-up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Operation:
• Drive heavy vehicles such as trucks, buses around coimbatore area.
• Ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods, materials, or passengers.
• Comply with all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Vehicle Maintenance:
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and brakes.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or issues to the maintenance department.
• Documentation and Compliance:
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, mileage, and cargo.
• Complete necessary paperwork for transportation and delivery.
• Ensure all necessary licenses, permits, and certifications are up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
• Customer Service:
• Interact with customers in a professional manner.
• Address any concerns or issues that arise during transportation or delivery.
• Safety and Regulations:
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and accidents.
• Adhere to company policies and governmental regulations regarding transportation and cargo handling.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ?17,000.00 per month
