Job Title: Driver

Job Overview: The driver is responsible for safely transporting goods, services, or passengers to designated locations. They ensure the timely, efficient, and safe delivery of materials or passengers, complying with all traffic laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transporting Goods/Passengers:
• Drive vehicles (car, truck, van, or bus) according to route assignments.
• Ensure the safe and timely transportation of goods or passengers to their destinations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Vehicle Maintenance:
• Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips.
• Ensure the vehicle is in good condition and report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained.
• Delivery/Route Management:
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries or transport.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Use GPS or maps to navigate to locations.
• Customer Service:
• Provide friendly and professional service to passengers or customers.
• Handle any inquiries or concerns from customers regarding deliveries or transportation.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean driving record and follow all legal requirements for vehicle operation.
• Loading/Unloading (if applicable):
• Load and unload goods, ensuring packages are securely fastened and undamaged.
• Assist with organizing and managing deliveries as necessary.
• Documentation:
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, payments (if applicable), fuel usage, and other relevant data.
• Submit reports on vehicle condition, delivery status, or any accidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to navigate using maps, GPS, or other navigation tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to handle physical tasks (e.g., lifting, loading).
• Time management skills and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift

• Yearly bonus

• Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (Preferred)

Experience:
