Driver
Job Description
• Transportation : Driving students to and from school, special events, and private groups
• Safety : Ensuring the safety of all passengers, including adhering to traffic laws, obeying safety guidelines, and responding to emergencies
• Maintenance : Performing daily inspections of the vehicle, completing maintenance records, and reporting any issues
• Cleanliness : Keeping the vehicles clean and in good mechanical condition
• Communication : Communicating with schools and transportation services, and discussing stop times
• Assistance : Helping students get on and off the vehicle, and helping load and unload luggage
• Discipline : Disciplining children as needed to maintain a safe environment
• First aid : Providing first aid in the event of an emergency on board the vehicles
• Schedule : Adhering to an assigned schedule and arriving at pick-up and drop-off points on time
• Incident reports : Completing incident reports
• Parent communication : Discussing safety with parents, explaining school board policy, and being receptive to their suggestions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?12,000.00 per month
