KNOWLEDGE OF DRIVING BOTH AUTOMATIC AND MANUAL CARS
Some other responsibilities of a driver include:
• Following traffic laws Drivers must follow all traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintaining the vehicle Drivers should keep the car clean and well-maintained, and ensure that there is enough gas to reach the destination. They should also keep accurate records of gas usage, miles, and other data.
• Planning routes Drivers should plan and manage efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals and departures. They can use navigational technology to find the best routes.
• Loading and unloading Drivers may help with loading and unloading luggage, packages, and other items.
• Safety Drivers should drive defensively to ensure the safety of passengers or cargo. They should also complete pre- and post-trip safety and operations checklists and documentation.
• Customer service Drivers should have excellent customer service skills and an upbeat attitude to ensure client satisfaction.
