Job Description

To expand our team, we are seeking a proficient and meticulous Draughtsman. The chosen applicant will be in charge of producing accurate layouts, production plans, and technical drawings for busducts and other mechanical parts. In order to make sure that all designs satisfy project specifications and client requirements, this position entails site visits, client coordination, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Primary Accountabilities:

Design and Drafting:

Make production drawings and thorough busduct layouts.
Verify that every drawing is correct and complies with industry norms as well as project criteria.
Modify drawings in response to project engineers' and clients' comments.
Site Inspections:

Visit several project locations to obtain accurate measurements.
In order to guarantee accuracy and viability, incorporate site measurements into sketches and blueprints.
Respond to any questions or issues clients may have about the designs, and make any required adjustments.
Preparing the Bill of Quantities (BOQ):

Create and revise the Bill of Quantities in accordance with the completed drawings.
Make that the quantity and supplies needed for the project are reflected in the BOQ.
Coordination Across Functions:

To guarantee that the design is carried out flawlessly, collaborate closely with the engineering, procurement, and production departments.
Work together with team members to find solutions for any drafting or design problems that come up over the course of the project.
Additional Activities for Design and Drafting:

As required, take part in different design and drafting-related activities.
Ensure that all drawings and modifications have proper records and documentation.
Qualifications:

Mechanical engineering diploma Mechanical engineering diploma or degree, or equivalent.
shown ability to develop production drawings and busduct layouts as a mechanical draftsman.
proficiency with other drafting tools and CAD software.
strong precision and detail-oriented drawing and design skills.
the capacity to decipher and understand technical requirements and drawings.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
the readiness to visit project locations as necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?40,000.91 per month
