Draftsman:

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Draftsman with expertise in 2D AutoCAD to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and reviewing technical drawings and blueprints for various projects. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong knowledge of drafting standards, and proficiency in AutoCAD software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and Modify Technical Drawings:
• Produce accurate and detailed 2D technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD.
• Develop schematic diagrams, layouts, and designs based on project specifications and requirements.
• Ensure drawings adhere to project standards and codes.
• Collaborate with Engineers and Architects:
• Work closely with engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project requirements and produce accurate drawings.
• Revise and adjust drawings based on feedback from engineers or clients.
• Ensure Quality and Accuracy:
• Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and industry standards.
• Maintain consistency in drawing style and presentation.
• Documentation and Record Keeping:
• Maintain an organized file system for all project drawings, revisions, and related documents.
• Provide clear documentation of design changes, including revisions and updates.
• Site Visits and Measurements:
• Occasionally visit project sites to take measurements and gather relevant data for accurate drawing creation.
• Adherence to Deadlines:
• Meet project deadlines and ensure timely submission of drawings.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. (or equivalent experience)
• Experience:
• Proven experience as a Draftsman with a focus on 2D AutoCAD drawings.
• Experience in architectural, civil, or mechanical drafting is preferred.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D), with a strong understanding of drafting techniques and principles.
• Knowledge of drafting standards and building codes.
• Familiarity with other design software (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors in drawings and designs.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and designs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?9,357.36 - ?15,740.69 per month
