Draftsman
Job Description
• Creates drawings of buildings, roads and other structures.
• Indicates types of materials to be used in the drawing.
• Prepares or checks estimate schedules for cost of materials and labor.
• Produce detailed technical drawings and lighting design layouts using AutoCAD, Revit.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to translate concepts and design requirements into accurate technical drawings.
• Develop and modify drawings in compliance with project standards and local codes.
• Conduct lighting calculations and simulations in DIALux to optimize lighting plans.
• Review sketches, specifications, and technical data to ensure accurate drawing development.
• Update drawings based on feedback and ensure all records are accurately maintained.
• Occasionally perform site visits to gather data or verify measurements as needed.
