Delhi Public School - Nadergul - Home Room Teacher

Delhi Public School is hiring for Homeroom Teachers, IB Facilitator, Preprimary teachers to create a nurturing learning environment, supervise classes to ensure student safety and productivity, and evaluate and document student progress to share with parents. The ideal candidate has an associate degree and 2+ years of teaching experience, understands child development, and can organize the classroom and facilitate the class schedule.

A homeroom teacher is responsible for the academic and social development of their students, and for creating a positive learning environment. Their job description includes:

Teaching: Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons that meet the needs of all students, including those with special needs

Classroom management: Organizing the classroom and learning resources to encourage a positive learning environment

Student support: Monitoring student progress, providing feedback, and following up on learning goals

Communication: Communicating with parents, other teachers, and the school administration

Collaboration: Collaborating with other educators to ensure a cohesive educational experience

School events: Participating in and organizing school events, outings, and activities

Professional development: Participating in the school's professional development program

Other responsibilities of a homeroom teacher may include:

Ensuring that students have the relevant textbooks and materials at the start of the school year

Building partnerships with parents and the community

Advocating for the needs and well-being of students
