Overall responsibility of ensuring the engineering deliverables by the Scrum teams, are on schedule and on quality, adhering to the engineering standards, best-practices and metrics
Work with the Team Leads in streaming the capacity planning and developing schedules for the Scrum teams, in alignment with the product and technical roadmap
Work with Engineering Leader and Architect, in defining the Technical roadmap, technology modernization initiatives and also in reducing the overall Tech Debts of the applications/products owned
Ensuring the defined quality standards on the end-to-end product development life-cycle stages (i.e. design, coding, unit/integration/regression/acceptance testing, release)
Measuring, tracking and reporting of the engineering metrics for the Scrum team, on quality and productivity, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Overseeing the risks, issues, dependencies and actions for the scrum teams are addressed and flagging the ones that need leadership attention
Analyzing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss the gaps and improvements
Encouraging innovation and high-performance work-ethics in the Scrum teams owned
Create and execute appropriate quality plans, project plans, test strategies and processes for development activities in concert with business and project management efforts.
Build, Guide and Coach the Scrum Teams on following agile best-practices and principles to deliver high quality products, facilitate and support all scrum events
Creating and influencing innovative solutions that meet both functional and non-functional (ex. reliability, availability, performance & security)
Keeping up-to-date with latest industry trends, upcoming technologies and developments.
Mentoring the teams in handling the aspirations of the individual team members and guiding the team in training and upskilling initiatives
