Domestic Sales Position / Destination Expert

Location: Gurugram

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Domestic Sales / Destination Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of various domestic destinations and a passion for creating memorable travel experiences for clients. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, providing suitable travel packages, and ensuring seamless travel arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize geographical Tour bookings.
• Expertise in handling domestic destinations such as Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Goa, Kerala, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, with the ability to learn and manage other destinations across India.
• Collect and analyze clients' specifications and preferences to suggest suitable travel packages or services.
• Assist clients in understanding appropriate destinations, modes of transportation, travel dates, costs, and accommodations.
• Organize travel arrangements from start to finish, including tickets, accommodations, and transportation.
• Provide travelers with relevant information and useful travel/holiday materials (guides, maps, event programs, etc.).
• Handle domestic tour packages and coordinate with tour operators to ensure smooth execution of tours.
• Work experience in hotel management activities from a backend perspective.
• Maintain relationships with key personnel in the travel and hospitality industry.
• Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages.
• Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to secure the best deals for clients.
• Coordinate sales activities and ensure effective communication with clients and team members.
• Handle queries from clients regarding travel arrangements, destinations, and services, providing prompt and accurate responses.
• Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in domestic tour package handling and destination management.
• Strong negotiation skills and sales coordination experience.
• Excellent communication skills (listening, reading, and writing).
• Self-motivated, self-starter, and quick learner.
• Positive attitude and hard-working nature.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
