Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Domestic and International Travel Consultant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional travel planning services to our clients, ensuring their travel experiences are seamless, enjoyable, and tailored to their needs. This role involves handling both domestic and international travel arrangements, offering expert advice, and maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel Planning and Booking:
• Assist clients in planning and booking domestic and international travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transportation, tours, and activities.
• Provide detailed information on destinations, travel requirements, and visa regulations.
• Research and recommend the best travel options to meet clients' needs and preferences.
• Customer Service:
• Deliver outstanding customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and resolving any travel-related issues.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and follow-ups.
• Handle complaints and provide solutions in a professional and timely manner.
• Sales and Promotion:
• Promote travel packages, special offers, and exclusive deals to clients.
• Upsell additional travel services such as travel insurance, car rentals, and guided tours.
• Meet and exceed sales targets and performance goals.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Manage client records and travel documentation accurately and confidentially.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
• Process payments, issue invoices, and handle financial transactions securely.
• Market Research:
• Stay updated with the latest travel trends, destination information, and industry developments.
• Monitor competitors' offerings and market conditions to provide competitive travel solutions.
• Collaboration and Teamwork:
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and travel partners to ensure a cohesive approach to client services.
• Participate in training programs, workshops, and team meetings to enhance knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in travel and tourism, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a travel consultant or in a similar role, with a focus on both domestic and international travel.
• In-depth knowledge of travel booking systems, GDS (Global Distribution Systems), and online travel agencies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Multilingual skills are a plus.

Additional Information:

• This position may require occasional travel for familiarization trips and industry events.
• Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required to accommodate clients' needs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ?20,000.00 per month
