Experience: 8-10 YearsLocation: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar, Kochi, GandhinagarRole Purpose:The purpose of the Domain Architect role is to:Define end-to-end solutions for IT change focusing on the Guidewire Insurance suite.Create Guidewire centric designs that are fit for purpose from a functional, non-functional, service, and security point of view.Deliver solutions that progress the overall architecture journey and are aligned to Aviva\'s IT StrategyComply with standards, design approaches and governance.Responsibilties:1.Create solutions and design for Guidewire Insurance platform (Guidewire PolicyCenter, Guidewire ClaimCenter, Guidewire BillingCenter, Guidewire Contact Mgr.) based projects to meet Aviva\'s standards for technology and ensure they meet our ambitions for availability, security, resilience, and performance.2. Produce Guidewire design and migration options with associated costs, benefits, and risks to enable investment decisions.3. Create migration solution to convert the policies from legacy system to Guidewire PolicyCenter4. Work with product owners, enterprise architects, platform teams and other project colleagues to agree trade-offs between, long-term and short-term goals.5. Responsible for the integrity of the end-to-end Guidewire solution across Platforms, including transition states used to achieve the target state.6. Shape and estimate IT initiatives and feature team sprints, ensuring that component parts deliver against business outcomes.7. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.8. Record any solution debt incurred during the transition phase of the solution and address the same in future phases.9. Identify potential risks and challenges associated with proposed solutions.10. Develop mitigation strategies to address identified risks.11. Participate in post-implementation reviews and provide feedback to improve future solution designs.
