Job Description
:Forvia India is looking for a Regional Quality Manager to be based at Chennai / Pune.The role of a Regional Quality Manager is to guarantee that all actions in the Plant comply with the requirements of the Faurecia Excellence System, and to do so considering customer, Quality, Division, Business Group and Corporate guidelines. The main missions of the role are to:
- Represent customer requirements internally.
- Define Regional Quality objectives, and monitor progress.
- Manage the Regional Quality System in accordance with the Faurecia Excellence System.
- Define, staff, and develop the Regional Quality organization.
- Ensure the Division\'s compliance with all safety/regulations requirements.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing organization in all activities and initiatives concerning Supplier Quality Assurance.
- Report Quality results to all relevant parties.
- Interrupt the development, manufacturing or delivery of products when Quality is not assured.
- Master\'s degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience
- Ability to manage a complex network in a matrixed organization
- Manufacturing and Quality experience
- Automotive industry background
- Process orientation
- Multi-site management experience
- Customer Relationship experience
- Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
- Six Sigma knowledge
