AboutMSSRF The M. S. Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF) was
established in 1988 as a not-for-profit trust by Professor M. S.
Swaminathan. The Foundation aims to accelerate the use of modern
science for agricultural and rural development, aswellas the
adaptation and dissemination of technology to improve lives and
livelihoods oftribal and rural communities. MSSRF follows a pro-poor,
pro-women and pro-natureapproach and applies appropriate science
and technology options to address practical problems faced by rural
populations in agriculture, natural resources, food and nutrition.
The Foundation works in the areas of Integrated Coastal systems
management, Agro-biodiversity, Conservation and sustainable use of
natural resources, Ecotechnology and Agriculture, Health and
Nutrition / Economics, with application of cutting-edge biotechnology
and digital technologies across programme areas. MSSRF is currently

o Undertake and perform activities as assigned for
implementation of Comprehensive Project on Rice Fallow
Management in the assigned District.
o Regular coordination with District level officials and PRI
member for smooth implementation of the project
o Finalization of Crop wise and Block wise target area in
consultation with District Level Officials.
o Finalization of GP, Village, and Farmers for Cluster
Demonstration of different crops in consultation with Block
Coordinator.
o Build capacity of community stakeholders in terms of
participatory planning, appropriate training, awareness and
knowledge sharing with the State Coordinator.
o Ensuring timely supply of seeds and other inputs to the Block
Head quarter.
o Ensuring regular field monitoring with District level officials.
o Establish strong coordination with District and block level PRI
members and Officials from Agriculture Department.
o The District Coordinator will be responsible for implementing
various activities and preparing project reports for the district.
o Any other task assigned by the Supervisor and Director
Academic Qualification Post Graduate in any discipline or M.Sc / B.Sc in Agriculture
Desirable Qualification o The candidate should have basic computer knowledge of
documentation
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in pulses
cultivation
• Candidate should possess a two-wheeler and DL
Age Below 45 years
