As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and directing the movement of goods and services to ensure efficient and timely delivery. You will work closely with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure all deliveries are scheduled and completed as planned.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and Dispatch : Dispatch orders to drivers and ensure they have accurate instructions and routes. Monitor the progress of deliveries and handle any issues that arise.
• Communication : Maintain constant communication with drivers, customers, and team members to ensure all parties are informed of delivery statuses.
• Problem Solving : Address and resolve any issues or complaints arising during the delivery process.
• Record Keeping : Keep accurate records of all dispatches, deliveries, and general transportation information.
• Compliance : Ensure all transportation and safety regulations are being followed by drivers.
Qualifications:
• Experience : Previous experience in a dispatch role is preferred.
• Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to handle unexpected situations and manage logistical challenges.
• Organizational Skills : Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Computer Skills : Proficiency in relevant software applications.
