Designation: Dispatch /Store Supervisor
Location: Vatva, Ahmedabad

Salary: upto 25000

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years in dispatch/logistics/Store roles.

Skills:

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in dispatch management software and tools.
• Ability to plan routes and optimize logistics.
• Knowledge of inventory control systems and software (e.g., ERP).
• Competence in generating and interpreting inventory reports.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Order Coordination:

Receive and process orders from the sales or production department.

Schedule and prioritize dispatches based on delivery timelines.

2. Logistics Planning:

Plan and organize transport routes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

Coordinate with drivers, couriers, or third-party logistics providers.

3. Documentation:

Prepare shipping documents such as invoices, bills of lading, and delivery notes.

Maintain accurate records of dispatched goods.

4. Inventory Checks:

Collaborate with the store department to ensure stock availability before dispatch.

Address discrepancies between inventory records and physical stock.

5. Communication:

Communicate with clients or recipients to confirm delivery details.

Handle customer inquiries or complaints related to dispatch and delivery.

6. Compliance:

Ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements for transportation.

Manage safety standards and compliance with transport regulations.

7. Monitoring and Reporting:

Track dispatched goods to ensure timely delivery.

Prepare reports on dispatch activities for management review.

8. Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring adequate stock levels.

Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification.

9. Material Handling:

Supervise the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials or products.

Ensure proper storage conditions to avoid damage or wastage.

10. Documentation:

Maintain updated records of goods received, issued, and returned.

Prepare inventory-related reports for management or finance teams.

11. Coordination:

Work closely with the procurement and production teams for stock planning.

Support the dispatch team by ensuring timely availability of goods.

12. Warehouse Organization:

Ensure the warehouse or storage area is organized and clean.

Implement inventory control systems like FIFO (First-In-First-Out) or LIFO (Last-In-First-Out).

13. Safety and Compliance:

Enforce safety protocols for handling hazardous or perishable items.

Ensure compliance with industry and government regulations.

14. Supervision:

Lead and train store personnel.

Monitor team performance and resolve operational challenges.

Primary Responsibilities :

To manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate inventory records and timely delivery to clients or production units.
