We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Dispatch Sales Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and acting as the bridge between clients and our dispatch/operations team. A key part of the role involves cold calling and outbound sales efforts to drive growth and expand our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new sales opportunities within assigned territory or client segment.
Conduct
cold calling and outbound sales calls
to prospective clients to generate leads and set appointments.
Present and promote dispatch services to new and existing customers.
Understand client needs and provide customized logistics or dispatch solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of services.
Follow up on sales leads, prepare proposals/quotations, and negotiate contracts or pricing.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress using CRM tools.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry best practices.
Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or related industry.
Proven track record in outbound sales or cold calling.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
Organized and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Proficient in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with dispatch and logistics systems.
Knowledge of the local market and transportation networks.
Bilingual or multilingual skills are an advantage.
