Job Overview

We are looking for a Dispatch Officer to join our team at DCS Group. The Dispatch Officer will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the dispatching of goods and ensuring timely delivery to customers. This is a mid-level position that requires 4 to 6 years of experience in dispatch operations. The employment type for this role is full-time.

Qualifications and Skills

• 4 to 6 years of experience in dispatch operations
• Proficiency in routing and route planning
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to calculate weights and convert units
• Knowledge of E-way bill generation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the dispatching of goods to customers
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and track the status of each shipment
• Collaborate with warehouse and transportation teams to coordinate the movement of goods
• Plan and optimize routes for efficient delivery
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of dispatch activities
• Handle and resolve any issues or delays in delivery
• Communicate with customers to provide status updates and address any concerns
• Manage and maintain relationships with logistics service providers
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance dispatch operations
