Job Description

• Plan and schedule dispatch activities to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure timely dispatch of goods.
• Communicate delivery schedules to drivers and ensure they understand their routes and timelines.
• Monitor the status of dispatched orders and provide updates to customers and internal teams.
• Track the movement of goods and ensure they reach their destinations on time.
• Resolve any issues or delays in the dispatch process.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including delivery logs, vehicle logs, and driver logs.
• Generate reports on dispatch performance, including on-time delivery rates, delays, and issues encountered.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide information regarding delivery status and schedules.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or issues related to deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols for drivers and vehicles.
• Work closely with warehouse staff, drivers, and other logistics personnel to ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Someone with 1-2 years of Experience would be Preferred
