CHAWLA AUTO COMPONENTS is committed to providing high-quality products and services to our valued customers. We are currently seeking a dedicated and efficient Logistics Coordinator to join our team and manage our material delivery processes. Job Responsibilities:
- Vehicle and Driver Arrangement:
- Organize and arrange vehicles and drivers for material delivery.
- Ensure timely availability of transportation to meet delivery schedules.
- Freight Finalization:
- Negotiate and finalize freight rates with transport vendors.
- Maintain cost-effective and efficient freight arrangements.
- Follow-Up and Coordination:
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and customers for smooth delivery operations.
- Follow up on delivery schedules and ensure timely dispatch and receipt of materials.
- Material Dispatch:
- Oversee the loading and unloading of materials.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all dispatched materials.
- Driver Management:
- Maintain accurate records of driver assignments and trips.
- Monitor and manage driver schedules and performance.
- Record-Keeping and Reporting:
- Keep detailed records of all logistics activities.
- Prepare regular reports on delivery performance, costs, and issues.
- Completion of 12th grade (Higher Secondary) or higher; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably in the iron and steel industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
