Job Description

Logistics Coordination:

1. Plan and coordinate the transportation of raw materials from suppliers to warehouses or production facilities.

2. Arrange for storage, handling, and delivery of raw materials.

3. Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.

Inventory Management:

1. Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials.

2. Conduct periodic stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.

3. Implement inventory optimization strategies.

Supply Chain Optimization:

1. Analyze and improve the raw material supply chain to reduce costs, lead times, and inventory levels.

2. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.

3. Implement sustainable supply chain practices.

Communication and Collaboration:

1. Liaise with production planning, quality control, and other departments to ensure alignment.

2. Communicate with suppliers, logistics providers, and other stakeholders.

3. Provide regular updates on raw material availability and supply chain performance.

Performance Metrics:

1. Raw material availability and stock levels.

2. Supply chain costs (transportation, storage, inventory holding).

3. Lead times and delivery performance.

4. Supplier performance and compliance.

Requirements:

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

- 2-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or procurement.

- Experience in raw material procurement and logistics coordination.
