We are looking for a highly organized and efficient Dispatch Coordinator to join our Canadian-based logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the timely dispatch of shipments, ensuring smooth communication between drivers, clients, and internal teams. You will monitor delivery progress, resolve any issues that arise during transportation, and maintain accurate records of all dispatched orders. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and schedule deliveries, ensuring timely dispatch and optimal route planning. Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations. Monitor shipments and proactively resolve any delays or issues during transit. Track and update dispatch records in the company's system. Maintain inventory and shipment logs, ensuring all necessary paperwork is accurate and complete. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. Provide customer service support by addressing delivery inquiries and complaints.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or dispatch coordination. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. Familiarity with dispatch software and tracking systems. Knowledge of Canadian transportation regulations is an asset. High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in logistics or related field is a plus.
