Key Responsibilities:Packaging Operations:
- Oversee Packaging:
- Ensure herbs and spices are packaged according to company standards for quality and safety.
- Use appropriate packaging materials to maintain freshness and prevent contamination.
- Quality Control:
- Inspect packaged products for compliance with quality standards.
- Ensure all packaging materials and processes meet industry regulations.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage inventory of packaging materials.
- Maintain accurate records of packaging material usage and stock levels.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Ensure packaging machinery is well-maintained and functioning properly.
- Schedule regular maintenance and address any equipment issues promptly.
- Compliance with Hygiene Standards:
- Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation protocols specific to herbs and spices.
- Ensure the packaging area is kept clean and organized.
- Order Fulfillment:
- Coordinate with production and sales teams to fulfill customer orders.
- Ensure timely dispatch of products to customers and distributors.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Prepare dispatch documents including invoices and packing lists.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during transport.
- Transport Coordination:
- Arrange transportation for shipping products.
- Track shipments and resolve any issues during transit.
- Inventory and Stock Management:
- Maintain accurate records of finished goods inventory.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
