Responsibilities
• At tender phase, analyze the requirement and provide the compliance status. Highlight any risks and provide optimized costing.
• At project execution stage, deliver Fire & Smoke analysis (Fire & Smoke Report, test monitoring...) compliant with QCD work packages commitments.
• At product development stage, set the relevant targets depending on the applicable standards and regulations and customers targeted, for internal development (make) and external (COS).
• Assure the right deployment (standards, tests, simulations...) for covering Fire & Smoke requirements at design/manufacturing level. Pilot the use of database MADAM.
• Apply Alstom processes within the Group.
• Support the deployment of processes, methodologies, simulations, and available fire safety data management (ReX) and storage tools Raise an issue at N+1 in case of gaps / abnormality /incompliancy
• Participate to relevant DR and GR meeting to ensure Fire and Smoke performance conformity
Knowledge & Experience :
• Fire & Safety or Mechanical or Materials Engineering degree,
• At least 2 years of experience in R&D, Design in Aeronautical, Automotive, Manufacturing or Railways engineering department within.
• Good Communications and interpersonal skills Time Management skills Sense of priorities Customer Focus Structured and pro-activity, team working, strategic vision
• Implement relevant Fire and Smoke R&D results in projects
• Basic knowledge on mechanical conception and CAD software (Catia preferred)
• Management skills to lead tender/project and R&D actions with a transversal approach
• English conversational/writing/reading advanced level
• Skill to read and interpret standards, and to lead design-reviews and propose solutions.
