JD for Disbursement Officer:

Job Purpose: The Disbursement Officer plays a critical role in ensuring efficient and compliant disbursement of loans or financial products to customers of the NBFC. They are responsible for managing the end-to-end disbursement process, adhering to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loan Disbursement Management:
• Process loan disbursements accurately and timely according to approved terms and conditions.
• Verify completeness and correctness of documentation submitted by customers prior to disbursement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies during the disbursement process.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as credit underwriters, operations, and legal teams to resolve disbursement-related issues.
• Customer Service:
• Provide prompt and courteous service to customers regarding disbursement queries and issues.
• Address customer concerns related to disbursement timelines, documentation requirements, and payment methods.
• Maintain professional communication and follow-up with customers throughout the disbursement process.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping:
• Maintain accurate records of disbursement transactions and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure completeness and confidentiality of customer information and disbursement records.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the disbursement process to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and best practices.
• Compliance and Risk Management:
• Stay updated with regulatory changes and ensure adherence to legal and compliance requirements related to disbursement activities.
• Mitigate operational risks associated with disbursement processes through effective controls and monitoring.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. (JD might specify preferred educational background)
• years of experience in loan disbursement or financial services operations, preferably in an NBFC environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements related to loan disbursement.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and familiarity with loan management systems (LMS) or similar software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?60,000.00 - ?70,000.00 per month
