:This is a key role in Information and Cyber Security Organization that demands operating with a high sense of urgency, understanding the current and emerging threat landscape, and associated risks that may impact "Organization". This role will be providing the required support and guidance in implementing, sustaining and enhancing appropriate protection mechanisms to support continuity of business operations. This role will maintain required levels of confidentiality, integrity, and trust. This role provides strategic direction for the development of processes, monitoring, communication, reporting and the execution of practices for management of advanced threats externally and within the "Organization" environment.ResponsibilitiesWork with the leadership teams, formulate & execute a strategy to strengthen the Cyber Security Defense, and its offerings.Build, lead, and manage a world class team focused on analyzing, designing, developing and delivering solutions built to stop adversaries.Analyzes/reviews information on current and emerging cyber threats, and is actively engaged in industry forums on threats and opportunities.Stay current with new and emerging technologies and the surrounding threat landscape, and how those relate to enterprise security technology/controls/risks.Drive execution and prioritization of cyber security projects and initiatives through strong technical understanding of deliverables.Provide indicators to manage program health including quality and timelines.Drives performance management, talent development, succession planning, coaching, and engagement for the teams.Build relationships and communicate at all levels of the global organization and cross-function/platform.Essential QualificationsHands-on experience in the field of cyber defense engineering and operationsAbility to participate and drive the strategy and approach around cyber security defense related activities.Ability to manage teams and response to emerging cyber threat landscape.As a Leader, support and drive future strategy and initiatives around cyber security operations .Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with leadership teams and other stakeholders.Problem solving, collaborating, planning/priority setting, timely decision making, perseverance, and a drive for results.Excellent communication skills necessary for team collaboration and coordinationAbility to manage individual / team performance, talent development, career succession planning, coaching and mentoring.Knowledge of cyber security concepts, frameworks and industry best practicesKnowledge of security technologies and their integration pointsDesired Qualifications18+ years of relevant experience in Information Security and TechnologyBachelors or Masters degree in information technology or computer sciencesWork experience in a global matrixed organizationIndustry certifications such as CISSP, CEH and others"Weekly Hours: 40Time Type: RegularLocation: Bangalore, Karnataka, IndiaIt is the policy of AT&T to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
