We are committed to fostering an inclusive culture where every employee can thrive and contribute their best.We are looking for a McDonalds in India Org Activation Lead who will report to the McDonalds in India Lead. The Org Activation Lead will play a critical role in managing transition and change management initiatives at the McDonalds in India in Hyderabad, ensuring day 1 readiness and supporting organizational transformation efforts. This role will focus on workforce transition, communication, learning, and organizational design, collaborating with teams to execute strategies that support the centers operational and strategic goals. This leader will bring to life the strategies developed by our function Modernization programs, making them accessible and actionable to our new McDonalds in India Office.While no two days are likely to be the same, your typical responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure day 1 readiness for the McDonalds in India Office by overseeing timely hiring and onboarding of all required employees, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Lead the translation of functional modernization deployment and workforce transition plans into implications for people readiness needs within McDonalds in India, identifying implications for training, staffing, and other HR activities.
  • Manage training and learning programs to address employee development, knowledge transfer (KT), and skill-building requirements.
  • Assess people readiness through each transformation wave, implementing interventions to address any readiness gaps and support employees during the transition.
  • Coordinate organizational change initiatives, including communication plans, learning activities, and org design efforts to ensure alignment with transformation objectives.
  • Drive communication efforts to keep employees informed about transition-related changes, fostering a culture of transparency and engagement.
  • Support organizational design activities, collaborating with stakeholders to establish structures and processes that align with McDonalds in India growth strategy.
  • Monitor transition progress and provide regular updates to leadership, ensuring that risks are identified and mitigated.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to integrate people strategies and support a seamless transition for all employee
Who were looking for:
  • 15+ years of experience in change management, organizational development, or HR transformation within large organizations.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a global transition role, and in leading large-scale transitions.
  • A degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field. Professional certifications in change management (e.g., PROSCI, PMP, SHRM) are highly desirable.
  • Expertise and knowledge in the areas of organizational design, change management, global talent acquisition, and knowledge transfer / onboarding.
  • Proven experience leading workforce transition projects and managing day 1 readiness initiatives for large-scale transformations.
  • Excellent skills in project management, training program design, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with various project management tools and platforms used to track and manage global transitions.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions at senior levels within a multinational context.
  • Excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience presenting complex transition-related information to executives and key stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to drive change and support teams during transitions
  • Analytical skills to assess readiness, identify gaps, and implement targeted interventions.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate them clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Strong knowledge of the McDonalds business model, high-level market and center structures, and leadership.
  • Familiarity with the capabilities / functional domains of the stakeholder group (e.g., Global Finance) and experience in applying Org Activation concepts to the given domain.
