Position: Director - Sourcing
Reports To: Vice President \xe2\x80\x93 Supply Chain
Position Based at: Mumbai / Hyderabad
Position Summary : This role will be responsible for providing comprehensive supply chain leadership and support to Regal Rexnord\xe2\x80\x99s Business Segments and Operations in India (Nine manufacturing plants at four different locations, and a sizeable portion of Regal Rexnord\xe2\x80\x99s global spend of ~$3B) with a primary focus on material cost management, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
This key role will work closely with the global supply chain teams, plant operations, segment, and corporate leaders in the development of strategic plans and actions, while proactively engaged in supporting projects to assure the attainment of agreed-upon performance across Regal Rexnord.
In an effort to improve our supplier performance within India, this leader will provide direct supervision of SQDE (Supply Quality Development Engineers) in the region. The SQDE team maintains the quality standard required for suppliers to support all four Regal Rexnord segments. As such, this leader will be accountable for the deployment of SQDE resources required to support the needs of the segments.
This individual will work as a liaison between the manufacturing needs and sourcing strategy. This individual will support projects and processes targeted at improving operational and supply chain execution, customer service levels, customer segmentation strategies, and the optimization of the "total cost to serve" for the entire order entry to delivery process, \xe2\x80\x9ccash to cash cycle. Will share responsibility for trade working capital (TWC) metrics and execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports Regal Rexnord\xe2\x80\x99s overall objectives, providing strategic leadership by setting the vision, strategy, and objectives, for the Supply Chain Organization supporting an annual spend of ~$200M (in-region and export), nine manufacturing plants, with matrixed accountability for the supply chain organization across India.
Establish Regal Rexnords\xe2\x80\x99s corporate supply chain leadership in India where majority of our manufacturing operations that support our customers globally
Develop and Lead SQDEs in the region, deploying resources to support supplier quality audits, capacity studies, project management support and actions related to improving supplier performance within India
Provides regional guidance to India based segment supply chain teams composed of commodity managers, supplier quality and development engineers and supply chain buyers/planners
Provide functional leadership and partnership with the all four segment management teams and plants in terms of local supply base and working capital improvements.
Serve as strategic partner to Regal Rexnord Senior Vice President of Supply Chain, to drive appropriate Global and Regional commodity strategies (Directs & Indirects) for the entire organization which drive year over year enterprise value.
Implement and execute best-in-class decision making, e.g., BVC Selection, Make/Buy, Buy/Buy transitions, Preferred Supplier programs, effective T&C structure and Global LTAs Establishes proper metrics to ensure sourcing decisions follow TCO principles and delivers business value.
Oversee selection and management of suppliers for India plants by ensuring proper sourcing guidelines are followed.
Leverage aggregate enterprise-wide volumes to negotiate "best-cost-first" for the system with involvement of key stakeholders.
Strategic partner with all Regal Rexnord Segments
Manage, evaluate, track and report key commodities, currency, and market trends from a historical and forecasting perspective.
Establish annual goals and objectives, including stretch targets for function/team and manage individual performance to assure attainment.
Drive spend and opportunity analyses, prioritizing strategic sourcing opportunities within assigned functions and throughout the SC environment.
Responsible for timely reporting of agreed upon KPIs and strategic sourcing plans, activities, and successes to the Senior Leadership Teams.
Lead development and management of supplier scorecards and implement countermeasures to compensate for negative performance & market trends.
Drive SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) and ensure SBRs (Supplier Business Reviews) are conducted with identified strategic suppliers by commodity.
Build and maintain solid relationships with global strategic supply chain partners to ensure period-over-period process improvements, including VAVE and innovative supply chain technologies
Drives cooperative planning and performance metrics between functional sourcing organization and the Segments P&L leadership teams to yield tangible improvements to SQDCG.
Leads management processes/systems that ensure a structured review of supplier pricing performance vs. appropriate benchmarks; run competitive sourcing to align supplier costs to market (with appropriately accounting for regional and volume impacts).
Drives our Regal Rexnord Business System in service through the development and implementation of supply chain strategies aligned to optimize performance.
Promotes Regal Rexnord vision, mission, values, initiatives and company policies, continuously improving and reducing risks within the operations.
In collaboration with Sourcing, Plant Materials Managers and SIOP, provides leadership and development for our world-class Supply Chain Management team through mentoring, technical / business training, individual development plans, and challenging assignments that build confidence and demonstrate the team\xe2\x80\x99s ability to make significant contributions
Coach, develop, hire and retain professional talent required to support the growing supply chain needs within India. throughout the organization.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, transparency and performance.
Ensure the organization is fully staffed and skilled to meet both long-term strategic and close-in operational goals as aligned with Regal Rexnord and the Business Segments
Collaborates with finance in managing and improving working capital year over year

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science degree in supply chain management, engineering, or industrial management. MBA in supply chain management or related desirable.
Proven track record of 10-15 years of progressive leadership responsibility in supply chain leadership, with at least 7 years of prior leadership experience. Experience with development of supply chains for export and working on global leadership teams. Manufacturing experience a plus. APICS certification preferred.
Success implementing continuous improvement tools and/or a master black belt in lean/six sigma principles and comfort implementing Lean in multiple environments.
Ability to support multifaced business requirements established by each Segment. Comfortable working in a results oriented environment with broad base of business requirements.
Demonstrated strategic decision-making skills regarding SIOP processes, make-buy decisions, and similar business related concerns Experience in strategic and tactical procurement; Direct experience negotiating and developing suppliers in low-cost geographies.
80/20 Experience and Business and Operational Segmentation.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate, interact, and influence at all levels of the organization to drive results.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellence in generating accurate and understandable data and reports to analyze performance to make data-driven decisions.
