Growing together.This request is to hire a senior leader for the UHC Automation Program. Engineering, strategic thinking, and communication are critical skills for this position as it will oversight of the program, including non-claims automation initiatives, and M&R and Clinical engineering. This India position with 5 direct reports and total team of 60 is pivotal in shaping the future trajectory and success of the program, which extends across all UHC business segments. Managing UHC automation governance will require direct interactions with CIOs and Engineering leadersPrimary Responsibility:

Required Qualifications:

• 20+ years of software engineering experience leading teams
• 5+ years of experience working with UHC or Optum
• 5+ years of experience in working in Automation Projects
• Experience working in the healthcare sector
• Proficient knowledge of UHC and Optum operations
• Comprehensive insight into various UHC processes, including enrollment, claims processing, appeals, program integrity, and contact center
• Extensive familiarity with applications utilized by UHC
• Demonstrated ability in recognizing large scale automation prospects, performing cost-benefit analysis, obtaining stakeholder approval, and fulfilling project objectives
• Proven track record of executing automation projects
• Proven skilled in the management of task mining activities
