A rapidly growing SAAS company with a massive multi-billion $ global market opportunity, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales with a core background in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector. As we aim to go global and achieve $100M in ARR by 2025, we are building a culture-obsessed, results-driven, and retention-focused team.
Responsibilities:
As the Director of Sales for the BFSI vertical, you will:
Revenue Target Achievement:
- Achieve revenue targets through new sales, renewals, and upsells from a named list of target enterprise customers in the BFSI space in India.
Consultative Sales Approach:
- Demonstrate a consultative selling approach focused on problem-solving and helping customers achieve their outcomes, building knowledge, expertise, and displaying empathy.
Deal Management:
- Project manage deals with key internal and external stakeholders, including customer success, legal, compliance, info-sec, etc. Document activities and opportunities accurately in the CRM.
Customer Success Partnership:
- Collaborate with Customer Success to track and enable customer outcomes, drive renewals, identify new opportunities and upsells, and reduce churn. Ensure a clean handover to the
Customer Success teams.
Best Practices:
- Develop well-drafted, clear sales proposals that win deals while setting the right expectations. Refine, develop, and test new playbooks and strategies. Work closely with Marketing to create and improve collateral and plans.
Demand Generation:
- Drive new conversations within your current network while receiving support from the corporate team.
Continuous Learning:
- Stay abreast of trends related to target industries, serve as the voice of the customer, and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas of the product.
Requirements:
Past Experience:
- 5-6 years of experience in a closing, quota-carrying role selling seven- to eight-figure (INR 5cr+) enterprise deals in India\'s BFSI space.
- Experience in SaaS, Analytics, and Mar-tech is a plus.
- Successful track record of building and growing new accounts through consultative and solution-based selling.
Persona:
- Fast, self-starter, and doesn\'t require handholding.
- Strong customer empathy with a desire to help customers and prospects achieve their outcomes.
Skills:
- Comfortable selling technical solutions in areas like telesales, lead generation, CRM, sales enablement, AI, and data security.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable using modern sales tools and CRMs.
