This role is located in Pune, MH - HYBRID.In this role, youll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Leads the regional Reconciliation area consisting of multiple teams through subordinate managers. Sets departmental priorities and allocates resources to align with business objectives and annual plan. Develops and implements policies to ensure client satisfaction and leads key initiatives. Maintains familiarity with industry best practices and seeks opportunities to implement as appropriate. Manages the performance of assigned staff; coaches and guides on project management. Responsible for overseeing regional and legal duties of the function.
  • Participates in long-term or strategic planning for the Reconciliation function designed to improve the overall client experience and improve team productivity and quality. Resolves the most complex or serious issues.
  • Sets strategic priorities around the development of new system enhancements and initiatives designed to improve the reconciliation experience. Determines needed improvements through review and analysis of problems reported.
  • Leverages an advanced understanding of tools to identify the most complex breaks. Synthesizes and analyzes function reporting of daily, weekly and monthly suspense and depository reconciliations. Leads regulatory reporting for the function.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with critical internal stakeholders to assess issues and recommend strategic solutions; may provide forward-looking and strategic insight on reconciliations.
  • Strategizes and drives the implementation of new technology solutions or improvements for new and existing business needs. Monitors and reviews feedback to ensure new solutions are meeting business needs. Acts as a subject matter expert.
  • Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contributions, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Provides feedback in the most critical of times.
  • Responsible for the human and financial resources of the Reconciliation function within a business unit. Coaches staff and facilitates their professional development. Ensures staff are educated/informed of policies and process and that staff operationalize these policies and procedures within the function.
To be successful in this role, were seeking the following:
  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required.
  • 20+ years of total work experience with at least 10+ years in management preferred.
  • Experience in brokerage/banking operations/ reconciliation processes preferred. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
