Overview
Epsilon is seeking a Director, Program Delivery with a proven record of accomplishment in leading, delivering, and managing compelling digital solutions in support of overall business growth and revenue targets. Candidates should have a strong experience in managing complex application development projects involving digital and database technologies with external clients. Candidates should have led multiple projects through scope/discovery, estimation, development, testing, post deployment support with ability to influence design and implementation approach for the clients.
The candidate will lead program implementations in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. Their role is to ensure implementation of performant, scalable and cost-effective solutions to client problems. They will work closely with product and marketing managers, project managers, architects, developers, quality analysis team members to implement product offerings and suggest ways to improve existing ones.
In this role, the candidate will work with a team who use Agile/Iterative Delivery Frameworks to deliver critical, customer facing, software development projects for our clients. You must be able to effectively provide leadership to multiple projects simultaneously, solve problems in a fast-paced environment, and work effectively under significant deadline pressure. You will be responsible to keep the team highly engaged and motivated, providing direction and delivering exceptional results towards the successful delivery of the program. You will lead efforts to improve our processes and champion the adoption of engineering best practices like CI/CD, automation etc.
Candidates should be able to establish and cultivate a culture of test and learn, continually identifying new ideas with an eye on improving the customer experience and business success metrics.
Responsibilities
Delivery
• Lead project implementation for build and manage solutions with cross-functional teams (including direct and matrixed),
• Provide technical and program management leadership in the organization
• Collaborate with client service teams on technical capabilities, staffing and infra needs.
• Establish/use/improve standard delivery methodology for delivering program goals (e.g. agile/iterative) while effectively using version control tools, Defect management tools, knowledge repository and team collaboration tools
• Enforce delivery excellence and compliance, managing the quality and timeliness of update and deliverables
• Contribute to design and continuous improvement of our marketing platforms/solutions
• Facilitates strategic and operational planning and implement processes to achieve program goals and objectives
• Ability to resolve cross product, vendors dependencies, risks and issues
• Develop and influence the culture of continuous improvement of delivery methodologies
• Establish and provide clear communication to executive leadership
• Conduct account/ engagement review with clients/internal stakeholders on periodic basis.
• Research and propose cost effective solutions to address business challenges as needed.
• Lead discussions related to contract implementation by liaising with various stakeholders on the project.
Pre-Sales & Contracting
• Support RFP/RFI with staffing requirements using relevant tools, with solid assumptions, lead client conversation on Epsilon implementation approach.
Product Implementation
• Evaluate possibility of any customization to be made as a standard offering within the product, lead discussions with Product team for prioritization.
• Create proof of concepts, explore alternate ways of executing functional and technical requirements.
Knowledge Management
• Draft/review reusable solutions and contribute to building a standard solution framework
People Management
• Manage Cross-functional skills with ability coach, mentor, and counsel as required
Qualifications
• BTech in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience is required
• 10 - 15 years of delivery leadership in complex projects is required
• 7+ years of experience with .NET or Java software implementation from requirements through design, development, user acceptance, and post deployment are a strong plus
• Experience in Agile Program management is required.
• Must have proven experience in leading large system integration efforts through completion
• Strong client interfacing background required
• Ability to estimate .NET or Java development work, if required, and validate outputs from the team.
• Experience in managing global delivery team required.
• Must have strong project management, technical and organizational skills
• Must have the ability to multi-task and project manage in a fast-paced demanding environment
• Strong knowledge of marketing technologies will be a plus.
