Director, Procurement

Property and Asset Management

What this job involves

You will be in charge of the entire bouquet of Property Management Services provided at the site. Your role will be to ensure smooth operations at the facility/site by enhancing efficiency using innovation and technology. Your role will encompass and not be limited to:

Maintaining Contacts and Collaborative Relations

You have a strong interpersonal skill and value the contacts and you promote open, constructive and collaborative relations with superiors, subordinates, peers and clients in benefit of the business. You can manage up and down within the Portfolio and Clients

Seasoned Expert

In this role, you'll handle the development, implementation and maintenance of purchase orders and benchmark reports. You'll also carry out scheduled audits to ensure that both contract and insurance requirements are met.

You will be responsible for making key decisions about stock control, preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances; and initiating corrective actions.

Leading from the front

One important part of your mandate is to support our supply chain management team by developing and looking after vendor management programmes, ensuring seamless negotiation processes and promoting effective project coordination. You'll also see to it that transition and information updates are well in place.

Master of Negotiations

You will have the knowledge, to accurately assess value and how to tie that reward to a desired outcome. The best negotiators are persuasive as well as great deal breakers.



Following would be your key deliverables:

Be responsible for procurement information, systems and ensuring implementation of proper Procurement processes across the country. Ongoing value creation with a world class supply base will be a part of your role

Managing procurement & stores staff, suppliers' SLA's.

Responsible for ensuring the stores management with right level of inventories across all buildings

Effective proactive liaison with other departments as necessary to forecast and plan to meet the supply and demand with relevant quality.

Negotiating and administrating of purchase manpower & AMC contracts.

Administration and reporting as necessary

Develop and manage outsourcing strategies

Be responsible for vendor statutory compliances in DLF /Premium client portfolio

Carrying out random procurement & store audits

Overseeing effective stock control.

Scrap disposal and management as per laid down process

Vendors development

Be at the helm of the supply's contracts.

Conducting bidding process / RFP floating if required.

Defining specifications of services / good in consultation with portfolio teams.

Maintaining good relationships with supplier.

Maintaining database of vendors / suppliers' category wise

Creation and improvement of best-practice based processes (e.g., leadership of high-value/strategic sourcing efforts)

Management of procurement staff in (and across) sourcing, contracting, transactional purchasing, supplier management, and miscellaneous internal procurement support activities



Client:

You will be working on of JLL's premium Portfolio, which is a Commercial Portfolio (spread across Delhi NCR, Chandigarh and Chennai), located at Gurugram



Site dynamics:

Work Schedule and other site details if any: Site team: e.g.: Property Manager +2



Reporting:

You will be reporting to Key Account Director.

Qualifications

You will have be a Graduate in relevant educational background preferably from engineering background with 15-20 experience in procurement & stores processes? Are you a perfectionist for key business goals and results?
