As a Director of Software Engineering in Consumer and Community Banking, you will lead the India teams on a key product (Sales Optimization) and drive impact across teams, technologies, and products across Lines of Businesses. Utilize your in-depth knowledge of engineering, data, public cloud, CRM, technical processes, agile and product management to drive multiple projects and initiatives, while serving as a primary decision maker for your teams and a driver of innovation and delivery. Sales Optimization is our enterprise customer relationship toolkit that our advisors and bankers use to connect with clients. It provides them with tools that enable instant collaboration across the sales eco-system and offers ways to engage clients and prospects in the channel of their choice, enables our front-line to be significantly more data-driven in order to build & deepen customer relationships. Job responsibilities: Leads technology and process implementations to achieve functional technology objectives. Accountable for decisions that influence teams\' resources, budget, tactical operations, and the execution and implementation of processes and procedures Carries governance accountability for coding decisions, control obligations, and measures of success such as cost of ownership, maintainability, and portfolio operations. Delivers technical solutions that can be leveraged across multiple businesses and domains Influences peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teams. Champions the firm\'s culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect. Collaborate across the Sales Optimization Product \'quad\' (product, technology, design and data) to own the product operating model that drives efficiency and transparency in a controlled manner supporting a diverse stakeholder group Keep the engineering roadmaps current and consumable by senior leaders. Routinely communicate relevant product updates to India teams, senior leaders through documents and presentations. Synthesize roadmaps, progress, deliverables & metrics, in partnership with engineers & product owners, to create compelling content for leadership consumption and broad communication Foster and drive agile culture, behavior and mindsets across the engineering teams. Take the lead in goal setting for the teams in India, working with your peers, have regular check-ins and partner on performance reviews. Data driven approach to identify issues early, make necessary adjustments and communicate to leadership Mentors and coaches teams fostering collaboration across the teams. Identifies continuous improvement activities/opportunities to reduce waste, drive efficiencies and improve the overall effectiveness Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 15+ years of Engineering experience in the financial services industry. Experience indeveloping or leading cross-functional teams of technologists. Experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent. Experience leading a technology team and managing the delivery. Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Experience in CRM and Customer relationship management implementations using a SaaS provider. Experience in data, MDM, ETL, Reporting & Analytics Experience insoftware development & deliverwith proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languagesCore Java, Spring frameworks, REST API, Cloud, Micro services, and other web technologies etc. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: AWS experience preferred. Master\'s degree. Understanding of the end-to-end technology process, including product strategy development, customer engagement, architecture design, engineering, implementation, and operations Understanding of modern Cloud CI/CD processes, tools, technologies, and best practices.
