Role: As the Director of Product Management, New Initiatives, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and growth at JoVE. You will lead a team of passionate product managers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape and execute the strategy for launching new product initiatives. Responsibilities: Develop a customer-centric product vision in alignment with the company strategy and business objectives. Leverage data and customer feedback along with market research and competition trends to identify and prioritize product initiatives for quick wins as well as mid/long term success. Identify and shortlist ideas for new product development across different product portfolios of education, research, corporate and high schools. Build and own the detailed product roadmap for our entire portfolio of products and solutions, and accordingly drive execution with each product to meet all product and business commitments. Craft success metrics for the key initiatives and continuously monitor to drive improvement and address gaps in the customer experience. Lead regular product discussions with the management team and facilitate cross functional decisions to get necessary alignment and influence decision-making. Coach and mentor product managers to build a culture of growth within the team Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree; Master\'s in management preferred but not mandatory. 8+ years of experience in product management roles related to innovation teams, new product development or digital product management with at least 2 years in people management roles. Innovative mindset with a willingness to test and validate new ideas. Proven experience in incubating new initiatives (0 to 1) and developing go-to-market strategies that have driven substantial business growth. Previous exposure to startup or fast-paced environments with a willingness to actively contribute. Exposure to biopharma, edtech, or research industries is a plus. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating collaboration with cross-functional teams and conveying complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
