Position Overview:


We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Product to lead our product management team (10 passionate and 2-5 years experienced PMs). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product development, a deep understanding of the logistics industry, and a passion for driving innovation. The Director of Product will be responsible for defining the product strategy, enhancing product discovery, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring the success of our product (We define product success by market leadership in our industry across the globe).


Key Responsibilities:

• Product Vision: We are the World's Easiest to use Supply Chain Visibilty Platform, as rated and informed by our cusotmers. Take this vision forward and scale up this success as we go from 500 to 10,000 B2B enterprises.
• Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with GoComet's vision and business objectives. Identify market opportunities and customer needs to drive product innovation and differentiation, leading to product success.
• Leadership : Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product managers, ensuring their professional growth and alignment with company goals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the product team.
• Roadmap Development : Define and prioritize the product roadmap, balancing short-term improvements with long-term strategic initiatives. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet customer expectations. Managing our high profile SAAS customers and ensuring their happiness.
• Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies. Use insights to inform product decisions and identify new opportunities.
• Customer Focus : Act as the voice of the customer within the organization. Do Product discovery, gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve the user experience and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure seamless product development and launch. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments.
• Metrics and Analysis: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and iterate on product features.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to communicate product vision, strategy, and progress. Present product updates and performance metrics to executive leadership.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (7+ years) in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in developing and launching successful products in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-informed approach to decision-making, with strong product instincts
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in product management tools and cutting-edge methodologies.
• Strong understanding of the logistics industry and supply chain management (optional)
