You are responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of engineering projects while ensuring alignment with the company\'s overall objectives. Your primary focus is on managing the engineering team, driving technical excellence and innovation, and delivering high-quality products. \ Responsibilities

• Lead a team of passionate software engineers that prides itself on ownership and impact
• Drive on-time, high quality product delivery
• Drive adoption of engineering best practices
• Work with Product Managers to have a holistic view across engineering and product, and drive engineering and product strategy (wear a product manager hat when needed)
• Help the organization scale and grow with the business - attract and groom the best talent!
• Drive better efficiency and process improvement for various aspects of the team\'s / product\'s operations
• Developing and implementing the industry\'s best engineering practices and processes
• Drive product direction and strategy by interfacing regularly with product managers, solution architects, sales engineers, and customers
• Drive scalable, extensible architecture by participating in architecture and technical design discussions
• Hire and grow a team of high performing engineers with diverse skill-sets
• Hire, coach, and grow first-line engineering managers and program managers

Skills Required

• 10+ Yrs of experience with min 4+ yrs experience in managing and growing teams
• A strong leader capable of motivating the very best software engineers, as well as gaining their respect
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong experience in having built, operated, and scaled distributed, large-scale, fault-tolerant systems
• Strong in design, and architectural skills - be a technical leader for the team
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
