Director - Marketing, PR & Communication:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join the team as Director - Marketing, PR & Communication.
- This role requires a strong background in Marketing, Alliances, Corporate Communications and PR.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies, forging strategic partnerships and managing alliances to drive growth and enhance the reputation of the business while managing a growing team across different locations.
Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the business and its offerings.
- Identify trends, insights, and opportunities for growth in the segment.
- Develop marketing plans, including advertising campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, events and promotions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align marketing activities with business objectives and member needs.
2. Brand Management:
- Develop and maintain a strong brand identity for the business, ensuring consistent messaging and visual representation across all channels.
- Oversee the production of marketing materials, including presentations, newsletters, on-ground collateral, website content and social media campaigns.
- Monitor brand performance, conduct brand audits and recommend strategies for brand enhancement.
3. Alliances and Collaborations:
- Identify and establish strategic alliances with external organizations, influencers and brands that align with the business values and objectives.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and manage ongoing relationships with partners.
- Develop collaborative initiatives, events, and campaigns to enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.
- Monitor partnership performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
4. Corporate Communications and PR:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate communications strategy to enhance the company\'s reputation and maintain positive relationships & share of voice with customers, media, and other stakeholders.
- Manage media relations, including drafting press releases, handling media inquiries and organizing press conferences/ events, if & when needed.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends and provide strategic guidance to mitigate potential risks or leverage opportunities.
- Oversee the creation of compelling content for various communication channels including the website, social media platforms and internal newsletters.
5. Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead a team of marketing professionals & graphic designers, providing guidance, mentoring and support to ensure their professional growth and development.
- Set departmental goals, monitor progress, and evaluate performance.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and creativity.
Requirements:
- Post Graduate degree in Marketing & Communications.
- Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the luxury, hospitality, or lifestyle industries.
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles, brand management, and digital marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing campaigns and strategies that drive business growth and brand awareness.
- Experience in negotiating and managing strategic partnerships and collaborations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for various stakeholders and platforms.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with external partners, media, and industry influencers.
- Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
