This role will require leadership across multiple functions, including web development, infrastructure, operations, and product management, to drive exceptional execution and continuous innovation. The Director will be pivotal in ensuring the team operates in highly transformative and agile ways, adopting best-in-class practices for web development and delivery, while fostering an environment of growth and collaboration.A critical aspect of this role involves working closely with our global teams, particularly those based in the US and UK, to extend our global team as one operation. This requires aligning efforts across geographies and functions, ensuring seamless collaboration to meet strategic business goals and deliver a consistent, high-quality web experience that supports our global digital initiatives.As a key leader, the Director of Web will guide the team to deliver outstanding results in alignment with strategic goals, ensuring that cutting-edge web development, technical excellence, and strategic web operations are consistently at the forefront of our global digital transformation.Your Impact & Key Responsibilities:

  • Cross-functional Team Leadership:
Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team of web team members based primarily in India, including PM & scrum master, developers (front and back end), product, operations, QA engineers, content authors, and infrastructure experts. Oversee team capacity, utilization, and ensure the team is fully equipped to meet project demands. Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment that emphasizes growth and talent development across all functions. * Global Collaboration and Alignment:Work closely with teams across global regions, including the US and UK, to ensure smooth integration of efforts. Align the India-based team with global business strategies and priorities, driving consistency across regions while ensuring local execution remains agile and responsive to changing needs. Build strong partnerships with global leaders to extend a unified global operation. * Product and Program Management:Own product and program management responsibilities for the web transformation project, ensuring efficient capacity management, resource utilization, and team oversight. Provide clarity on priorities, project planning, and deliverables, guiding teams to work in an agile, entrepreneurial manner. Regularly assess team workflows and implement improvements to optimize performance and outcomes * Project Prioritization & Agile Delivery:Ensure the web team is clear on project priorities and deadlines, driving alignment across functions. Lead the team to operate in an agile fashion, adapting quickly to new workflows and continuously improving processes. Cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset within the team, promoting innovative solutions while ensuring alignment with broader business goals. * Website Strategy, Measurement & Development:Drive the strategic direction for the website, ensuring alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs) and overall business goals. Collaborate with global teams on development efforts to deliver a web platform built for scalability, optimized user experience (UX), and measurable success. Lead the execution of the website transformation with a focus on technical excellence and innovation. * BAU Work in Support of Marketing:Manage ongoing BAU workstreams and provide support for marketing-driven web requests. Ensure that the team efficiently handles BAU tasks while staying focused on delivering long-term strategic projects. * Human-centered Design & UX Optimization:Implement human-centered design principles to create an engaging, intuitive website experience for our users. Ensure the design system is consistently applied across all digital touchpoints, driving a seamless user journey and a best-in-class web experience. * Collaboration with Global Teams:Foster collaboration between India-based teams and other global functions, including engineering, design, product, and QA teams, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of web initiatives. Regularly communicate with global leaders to maintain alignment and consistency in project execution. * Problem Solving & Efficiency Improvements:Identify and address operational inefficiencies, continuously seeking ways to improve team performance, streamline processes, and enhance collaboration across global regions. Lead the team in proactively solving problems, fostering a solution-oriented culture.QualificationsYour Skills & Experience:
  • 8-10 years of experience managing web operations, development, or product management teams, particularly within B2B website environments.
  • Proven expertise in product and program management, including capacity management, team oversight, project prioritization, and agile methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of UX design principles, DSM, website optimization strategies, and human-centered design.
  • Experience working with engineering teams and a solid understanding of coding, web technologies, and infrastructure management.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams globally and manage multiple workstreams across different regions (e.g., US, UK, India).
  • Exceptional communication skills and leadership abilities, capable of aligning teams to global goals while ensuring successful local execution.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, open to new ways of working, and ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing large-scale B2B website projects, including transformation and optimization efforts.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools, personalization platforms, and advanced analytics systems.
  • Experience managing geographically distributed teams and working across multiple time zones.
