Job Description

:

As Director, Manufacturing and Operations, you will:

• Provide leadership and advocate the culture of Safety-First and continuous improvement across all the operation sites.
• Create and implement vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures for the plant team to aid and improve business performance
• Formulate and drive key operation initiatives according to the long term and short-term strategies, and mentor the team to deliver best of class quality and services for excellence
• Maximize company performance, profitability, and efficiency in regard to all supply chain, including but not limited to planning, procurement, logistics and warehousing
• Drive improvements in Quality Management system, striving for outstanding products and business practices to deliver to the customer's expectations
• Ensure that Environmental, Health and Safety, manufacturing and quality standards and procedures are adhered to
• Work collaboratively, negotiate, and engage with key partners to facilitate delivery and compliance with the manufacturing strategy and to incorporate standard methodologies into the operations environment
• Provide leadership to departments under control and coach, mentor and develop resources and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions

Required education, experience, and skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• A degree in management is desirable with 18 years plus validated experience
• Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
• Commercially and financially astute with experience of managing budgets
