Deloitte exemplifies what, how, and why of change so you're always ready to act ahead.Your work profileAs a Director in our Global Business Tax Team you'll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -xc2xb7 Supervising and taking responsibility for all tax advisory engagementsxc2xb7 Supervising and taking responsibility for delivery of tax opinions / short notes / email responses on day-to-day clients' tax mattersxc2xb7 Supervising and taking responsibility for tax compliances such as filing of tax returns, withholding tax statements, advance tax, provisioning for income tax and other tax filings such as SFT etc.xc2xb7 Supervising and taking responsibility for tax assessment / litigation proceedings before the assessing officer, other income tax authorities and higher appellate forums. This will include reviewing / drafting responses to audit notices & questionnaires, representation before the tax authorities for assessment, rectification, and other similar matters.xc2xb7 Training managers and other executives for creating stronger bench and aid their professional developmentxc2xb7 Delivering clients with tax technology assets through licensing and / or internal managed servicesxc2xb7 SPOC responsibilities for end-to-end tax operate engagementsxc2xb7 Internal client codes management from the standpoint of time logging, invoicing, and collections.xc2xb7 Business development including identifying new opportunities and mining existing ones including actively identifying list of pursuitsxc2xb7 Contributing to firm eminence programs / events / written or speaking contributions at conferences etc.xc2xb7 Focusing and aligning with firm's core tax growth themesxc2xb7 Contributing to thought leadership and other tax technical papers for firm wideGo-to-market strategyCollaborating with other tax services lines / business functions for multi-disciplinary client requirements.Desired qualificationsxc2xb7 CA-10-12 years' Experience in Direct Taxationxc2xb7 Strong Technical knowledgexc2xb7 Analytical skills & conceptual clarityxc2xb7 Innovative Thinking & Eye for Market trendsxc2xb7 Effective communication and presentation skillsxc2xb7 Time and cost management Skillsxc2xb7 Managing and leading a teamxc2xb7 Mentor for professionalsLocation and way of workingxc2xb7 Base location: Hyderabadxc2xb7 This profile involves frequent travelling to client locations.xc2xb7 Hybrid is our default way of working.
