Role DescriptionRole / Position: Director- Finance and AccountsLocation: GurgaonThe position requires an individual who can be an effective leader in a position with 12-15 years of experience in corporate finance that includes Accounts Management, Taxation and Team Management for India, US, and Other group entities.Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Finance and accounts team
• Lead and manage monthly and annual accounts finalization, audits (Internal, Statutory, and Governmental) and follow up,
• Identify & implement appropriate occasions of determining tax treatments to ensure compliance and regular filing of returns under Indirect and Direct tax laws, and Tax assessments and inspections by Government.
• Review various contracts from taxation and financial standpoints.
• Liaison with external tax consultants, auditors (@ big 4) and other agencies in compliance to audits, obtaining opinions, PF, Gratuity, ESI, Labor Welfare Fund, etc for intra group entities.
• Accomplish human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; enforcing policies and procedures.
• Achieve accounting operational objectives by preparing and completing action plans; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
• Maintain accounting controls by assisting in defining accounting policies and procedures.
• Avoid legal challenges by understanding current and proposed GAAP and Tax legislation; enforcing accounting regulations; recommending new procedures where required.
• Presenting the above information in succinct manner to multiple stakeholders.

Technical Skills

• Chartered Accountant with 10-15 years relevant experience. Preference for people with experience in IT services industry.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities and be willing to take a hands-on approach and also be able to excel in an international company culture
• Excellent people skill, able to motivate and develop the local teams.
• Experience in MS Dynamics (not mandatory)
• Trustworthy, able to be deal with confidential information.
