& Summary A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You\xe2\x80\x99ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.

Our Financial Analysis and Reporting team is responsible for managing PwC\xe2\x80\x99s financial risk through financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and tactical consulting. As part of the team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll help with budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting, shared services and financing.

Section I: Job Summary
This role will support the CFO in driving consistent and insightful cost analytics for IFS and LoSs and also lead the
IFS Business Partnering role. The individual will play a crucial role in analysing, monitoring, and controlling costs
across various business units by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to provide valuable insights,
recommendations, and support in financial decision-making. The position will require extensive business partnering
with our IFS business units and effective communication across functions and with senior leadership as a subject
matter expert.

Section II: Responsibilities
Performance Evaluation: Evaluate the performance of various cost centres / departments of IFS, identifying trends
and variances and making appropriate recommendations.
A special focus would be on IFS investments, its accounting and end to end understanding through interaction with IFS
leaders.
Cost Analysis: Conduct comprehensive cost analysis for all LoSs and across different projects, products, and
operations to identify areas for optimization and cost-saving opportunities. Develop and implement effective cost control
measures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and financial goals.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Facilitate budgets and forecasts by providing cost projections and insights into potential
variances.
Also lead the overall budgeting and forecasting cycle for IFS, ensuring building up of a bottoms-up budget with
complete visibility into their activity level planning.
Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed and insightful financial reports, presenting findings to management and
stakeholders to support strategic decision-making. Own the process of cost accrual and expense allocation to align with
the set of best business practices.
Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve cost analysis methodologies, tools, and processes to
enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various IFS departments to align cost analysis with business goals
and strategies. Business partnership and ability to zoom in/out of the details are essential for being successful in this

Risk Assessment: Identify potential financial risks and work proactively to mitigate these risks through analysis and
strategic planning.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to the team, fostering their professional growth and
development.
Internal Collaboration : Demonstrate leadership and effective team-playing abilities by collaborating internally with
finance teams, particularly Statutory Reporting Team and Reporting CoE

\xe2\x97\x8f Solid understanding of the cost drivers of the business and the impact of volume fluctuations on net results,
particularly around fixed, semi-variable, and variable costs;
\xe2\x97\x8f Passion for planning and completing process improvements and automation workflows
\xe2\x97\x8f Proven experience in cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, with a strong track record of identifying cost-
saving opportunities.
\xe2\x97\x8f Proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and using financial software tools such as Excel, SAP, or other
relevant systems.
\xe2\x97\x8f Deep understanding of cost accounting principles, cost allocation methodologies, and financial reporting
standards.
\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
\xe2\x97\x8f Strong problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated history of developing effective solutions to financial
challenges.
\xe2\x97\x8f Effective communication skills to clearly present complex financial information to both technical and non-
technical stakeholders.
\xe2\x97\x8f Detail-oriented mindset with a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualified member of an accountancy body or holder of an equivalent qualification (Chartered Accountant/ ICWA / MBA
Finance) with six sigma, project management certifications.
Experience Level:
More than 15 years of experience, including at least 4 years of leadership experience in FP&A
