Owns and manages business DDIT GDD Patient Safety (PS) vertical for Global Drug Development (GDD) across all geographies

Accountable to GDD PS Business Units for strategic partnering, end-to-end project delivery and operations. Partner with Senior Business Stakeholders (GDD LT) and DDIT Strategic Business Partners for demand analysis, solution proposal/evaluation and project delivery.

Position Purpose:
The Business Partner for Chief Medical Office (CMO):

• Acts as a trusted technology advisor for the global CD&CMO organization, and contributes to prioritizing demand and establishing the CMO technology strategy and roadmap
• Owns and manages business solutions/services delivery vertical at an enterprise level for the Chief Medical Office business capability
• Is accountable to Clinical Development & CMO for project delivery and operations for the CMO business capability

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Accurately capture new demand for CMO and provide reliable cost estimates and innovative technology solutions in line with the DD&IT Technology Strategy
• Define and execute technology delivery strategy for business systems, platforms, and processes for CMO
• Ensure on time, within budget, compliant, secure, and quality delivery of portfolio for CMO, partnering with relevant Enterprise Data, Digital & IT functions
• Ensure services, solutions, platforms, products are fit for purpose and achieve the desired business value and impact and Run efficient DevOps for platforms, products, or systems ensuring availability and optimal performance for CMO
• Establish governance structure for projects, operations, etc. with the right stakeholder representation for CMO
• Track, report, and deliver against agreed success factors and KPIs for various stakeholders for CMO. Follow industry trends and emerging practices to drive agility, speed, efficiency, and effectiveness
• Ensure the overall user experience is considered when designing new solutions and services.
• Take accountability to ensure adherence to Security and Compliance policies and procedures within the Service Delivery scope.

Minimum requirements

Education:

• Master\'s degree in either a scientific, medical, or technical field
• Project Methodologies (e.g. Agile training);

Experience / Professional requirements

• 12+ years of business and IT experience and proven track record of 6+ years in managing demand and delivering technology solutions in complex IT landscapes
• Experience in leading cross functional teams
• Experience in value management desired
• Experience in business process redesign and change management
• Proven track record in Product Management, Agile and Design Thinking
